Born in Cambridge, Mrs. Duggan lived much of her life in Woburn, MA. In early years she studied at a beauty school in Cambridge, then worked at Joyce Chen as a waitress. Ms. Chen took her under her wing, and Mrs. Duggan learned to cook Asian cuisine.

When her children were born Florence became a stay at home mom, and only when they were older she worked mother's hours for the Woburn school department so she could still be home for them.

After her retirement, the Duggans moved to Maynard and Mrs. Duggan was proud to spend over 20 years caring for others in their homes as a private caregiver. She had a love of cooking and hosting parties, especially summer parties outdoors at her Woburn home. Talented in many areas, Mrs. Duggan also enjoyed to crochet and knit, creating many items for her family and friends through the years.

In 2005 she met the second love of her life, Jack McHugh, Sr. of Billerica, and together they traveled the world. Jack passed Easter of 2016. All three, Florence, Richard and Jack will be sadly missed by family and friends.
