Obituary for Paulette Ann Dion (Doucette)

Paulette Ann  Dion (Doucette)
Paulette Ann (Doucette) Dion, 69, of Clinton, MA, passed away suddenly at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA on February 16, 2018. Paulette was born on May 18, 1948 to the late John Charles Doucette and Catherine (Doucet) Doucette in Waltham, MA. She is a graduate of Waltham High School. In 1969, she married Robert (Bob) A. Dion, whom she was married to for nearly 49 years, and most recently passed away on April 21, 2018. She was a long time resident of Maynard, MA, and also lived in Acton, MA, Stow, MA and Shapleigh, ME before settling in Clinton, MA. Paulette worked as a bank teller before moving on to work for Digital Equipment Corporation in the 1980s. After taking a few years off, she returned to work as a bookkeeper for Capizzi and Company Landscaping in Acton, MA before retirement.

She leaves her son, Michael R. Dion and his wife Loretta S. (McKenna) Dion of Ranson, WV; grandchildren Timothy and Andrew Dion of Ranson; a brother, Paul Doucette and wife Nancy of Milford, NJ; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Doucette, and two sisters, Catherine Summerhayes and Diane Hines.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family to celebrate the lives of Paulette and her husband Bob on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Route 111), Acton, MA.
