Obituary for Tina Marie Blanchard

Tina Marie Blanchard
Tina Marie Blanchard, 46, a resident of Groton, MA for 18 years, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA after a long illness and complications of diabetes on October 11, 2017. She was born in Marlborough, MA raised and educated in Sudbury, MA.

Tina is survived by her beloved husband of 18 years, Douglas S. Pugsley; her loving mother, Charlene A. (Vidito) Blanchard of Groton, MA; a brother, Matthew Blanchard and his wife Lisa of Paxton, MA; her mother-in-law, Wanda (Jasielonis) Pugsley of Maynard, MA; a sister-in-law, Audrey Presti and her life partner Rich Presti of Sudbury, MA; an uncle, William Vidito of Manchester, NH; two aunts, Linda Fisher and her husband Louis of Zion Grove, PA and Janet O’Keefe of Dracut, MA; three nieces, Ava and Riley Blanchard, Kendall Presti; one nephew, Connor Presti; as well as countless cousins. She was predeceased by her father Mark J. Blanchard and father-in-law Doug Pugsley.

Tina was a real artist in her work as a manicurist. She was an avid reader and loved to cook for her family and friends; she treated her 4 cats as her children and loved all politics. Tina was a huge fan of NPR (National Public Radio) and WBUR. If you needed to know anything about the world, Tina knew the answer!!!

Previously Tina managed a dental office in Chelmsford, and was also a waitress and later a manager at the Coach Grille in Wayland (known as Hillary’s at the time). Tina was not a big fan of crowds but she could easily talk to anyone like she had known them for years.

Her visiting hours will be held at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave., (Rte. 111) Acton, MA on Sunday, October 15th from 3:00 to 6:00pm, pausing at 5:00pm for a Time of Remembrance when family and friends are welcome to share a memory or reflection. Donations in memory of Tina may be made to the MSPCA Angell, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130. Memorial page www.actonfuneralhome.com
