Dawn V. (Dagenais) Edwards, age 88, passed away on July 17, 2011, at her home in Acton, MA. She was born in Barrie, Ontario Canada on March 20, 1923. An Acton resident since 1946 she enjoyed spending time in the garden and tending to her flowers, as well as genealogical research. Mrs. Edwards was also involved with the quilting club at the Senior Center in Acton. She was the wife of the late Howard R. Edwards to whom she was married for sixty years at the time of his death in 2006

She is survived by her son Brian Edwards and daughter Mara Kelly both of Acton, MA, three grandchildren, Joseph Kelly and Wife Jackie, Jamieson Kelly, and Emily Kelly, and one great grandson, Brady Godsoe. Mrs Edwards is also survived by a sister, Beverly Mentzer of Bolton, MA. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours Thurs. July 21 from 6-8pm at the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Ave Rt. 111 Acton. Funeral services Friday July 22 at 10am in Woodlawn Chapel, adjacent to Woodlawn Cemetery Concord Rd, Acton Center.
