Frank R. Cantino, 89, a lifelong resident of Maynard, MA, died on Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was the son of the late Samuel and Virginia (Pareago) Cantino.

Frank was born in Concord, MA and resided in Maynard his whole life. He was always active in the Maynard community and was fondly referred to by many as “The Mayor.” Frank always looked forward to attending and cheering for his loved Maynard High School sports teams. He never would miss a game. He enjoyed sharing a friendly "hello" to the many folks in Maynard he would encounter. He lived a long and full life touching the lives of so many and his memory will be cherished by all who loved and knew him.

Frank leaves behind his two loving siblings, Mary Holt of Littleton, MA and Edward Cantino and his wife Nancy of Colorado. He was predeceased by his brother Ralph Cantino in 2005 and is also survived by his adoring nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Maynard. Funeral arrangements are under the thoughtful guidance of Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA 01720.
