STOW: Cynthia Edmonds Torkelsen, 71, of Stow, formerly of Acton and Littleton, MA, died peacefully Monday, June 22, 2020 in Concord, MA. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Stephen W. Torkelsen; her brother Christopher Edmonds; and extended family and many dear friends.

Born in Summit, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Frank N. and Joan M. (McKinney) Edmonds. A graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Cindy's career through the years included gift store owner, bookkeeper and credit manager before retiring. She enjoyed fishing, bird watching, fossil finds and soapstone carvings. She especially loved trips to Nova Scotia to spend time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Cindy's wishes, interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Rd, Acton Center is private, and a Life Celebration is planned for a later date and will be announced.
