She was predeceased by her parents William and Rose Labowicz, and siblings Vincent P. Labowicz, Helen L. Delaney and John S. Labowicz. Mary was a lifelong resident of Maynard and member of St Bridget’s Parish, and a proud graduate of Maynard High School and Bay Path Junior College. Mary worked her entire career as an administrative assistant, first at Lincoln Laboratories then in the Maynard High School Guidance Office. She spent many happy years at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Mary loved all flowers, cooking, music, dancing, anything that sparkled, football and Tom Brady, and a good Western. She spent many happy afternoons with her Maynard book club friends and enjoyed her outings with the “Digital Ladies." Mary was part of the St. Vincent De Paul Society at Saint Bridget’s for many years.

She had so many wonderful years of travels with her husband, children and friends locally and internationally and particularly looked forward to a yearly trip to Aruba. But Mary especially loved just being at home in Maynard with her family.

The family would like to thank the nurses and home health aid from Nashoba Nursing Service & Hospice and the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital for all their compassionate care.

A private funeral will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Bridget’s Church with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, c/o St. Bridget’s Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard, MA 01754.
