Marjorie A. (DeSantis) Jean, 87, current resident of Acton, MA long-time resident of Arlington and Lexington, MA passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late E. Robert Jean who died in 2011.
Marjorie was born in Medford, MA, daughter of the late Alexander and Henrietta (Mazzarella) DeSantis. She was raised in Arlington, MA where she attended local schools and graduated from Arlington High School. She spent her younger years raising her 3 daughters.
Marjorie leaves her three loving daughters, Linda M. White and her husband Kevin, Susan L. Barba and her husband Salvatore and Donna A. Spagnolia and her husband Paul. She also leaves her 5 adoring grandchildren, Salvatore G. Barba, Alexandra N. Barba-Williams and her husband Ryan Williams, Stephanie J. White and her fiancé Christopher Rymer, Lauren T. White, Sophia T. Spagnolia; her sister Louise A. DeSantis of Arlington, MA along with her many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marie P. DeSantis, Mildred Harish and Patricia Boutilier.
Marjorie enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She was proud of their rose garden both she and husband E. Robert cultivated every year. She cherished the times spent with family, especially later with her grandchildren and will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
A private graveside service will be held in Westview Cemetery, Lexington, MA. Funeral arrangements are under the thoughtful guidance of Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA.
