Obituary for Anton Horber

Anton Horber, 90, died peacefully Monday January 20, 2020 at the Bridges by Epoch at Westford. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Maria Lucia (Spies) Horber, and is also survived by their two children, Elizabeth Horber and her husband James Hildreth, and Anthony Horber and his wife Deborah; four grandchildren, Kristoff and Jordan Nelson, and Justin and Megan Horber; and five nieces, Rose Hrehowesik, Anneliese Francis, Margaret Zelenak, Helene Wasmer, Rosi Ditzig; two nephews, Michael Horber and Andreas Horber.

Born in Homorodu de Jos, Romania, he was the son of the late Michael and Rosalie (Wilhelm) Horber. He was also predeceased by his five siblings. A machinist, Mr. Horber was very proud of his career in aviation with PanAm.

Family and friends are invited to the funeral Mass on Saturday, January 25th at 10:00AM in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington Street, Acton. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 104 Central Street, West Acton. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
