Obituary for Ann Ruth (Marshall) Brannon

Ann Ruth (Marshall) Brannon, 76, of Auburn/Acton/Newton died peacefully at her home with her family by her side on November 27, 2019 after a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Dorothy (Bell) Marshall.

Ann is survived by her children, Kimberly Meehan and husband Pete of Glendale AZ, Cindy Schofield and husband Eric of Auburn MA, and Christopher Brannon and wife Julie of Northborough MA; 8 grandchildren, Brandon McLaughlin, Kaitlyn Mulich and husband Evan, Camden Brannon, Micayla Meehan, Carter Brannon, Jake Schofield, Cassidy Brannon, Connor Schofield; a sister Gail Cullen and husband Bob.

Ann loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Guard, sports, plays, Boy Scouts were some of the many events Grammie was sure to attend no matter the weather, or location. Trips to Boston to see the ducks and ride the Swan boats, going to the beach, walking the Marginal Way were particularly special. She also was a long time member at her church, Faith Chapel. Her faith in God and support from the church gave her the strength to raise three kids on her own, and the many struggles that entailed. Thankful for her faith in Christ and the assurance that she is celebrating in heaven.

Visiting hours on Monday Dec. 2nd 4-8pm at Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Funeral service Tuesday Dec 3rd at 11am in Faith Evangelical Church, 54 Hosmer St, Acton.
