John F. Kendall, 76, affectionately known as "Jock," died peacefully November 10, 2019 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Patricia E. (Morrison) Kendall, and is also survived by their son Kevin Kendall and his wife Lisa of Townsend; granddaughters Jessica Croteau and husband Joey, and Rachel and Melanie Kendall; a brother Richard Kendall of Boxborough; and nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his son John Kendall Jr., who died in 1981, and three brothers, William Kendall Jr., Leonard Kendall Sr., and Robert "Rutch" Kendall.
Born in Concord, MA and a lifelong resident of Acton, MA, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Laonie (King) Kendall. Mr. Kendall owned and operated a masonry business until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.
All are invited to visiting hours on Friday November 15th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery is private.
