Obituary for Michael Scott Dees
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Michael Scott Dees, loving husband and step-father, passed away at the age of 57.
Michael was born Friday, April 13, 1962 in Port Clinton, Ohio to Bonnie Jean Dees (nee Pollock), and it was always a source of pride he shared his birthday with his hero Thomas Jefferson. He served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army until his medical discharge. Michael had a passion for music, story-telling and movie making.
On February 14, 2008 Michael married Joan Frye, Jr. and became step-father to Joan’s daughter, Megan Alexandra Frye, who he raised as if she were his biological child.
Michael is survived by his wife Joan, step-daughter Megan, aunt Judi and cousin Steven.
