Mary Gladys (Dentz) von Fuchs, age 90, of Sandwich, formerly of Cranford, New Jersey, passed on October 13, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Theodore von Fuchs. Predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Lemere and Grace Mullen. Survived by brother Lawrence Dentz and his wife, Esther, brothers-in-law Leo Lemere Jr and John Mullen, cousins Beverly Fuller, Barbara Heald and Betty and Linda O’Neil. Survived by nieces and nephews Susan Green (Gary), Richard Lemere (Marcy), Thomas Lemere (Norah), Cynthia Lemere (Gerald), Nancy Lemere (Douglas), Michael Lemere (Miguel), Robert Lemere, Mary Ann Lemere (Armando), John Mullen (Salem), Mark Mullen, Caroline Tremonte (John), Lawrence Dentz Jr, and Karen Dentz, and many great nieces and nephews.

Gladys was born and raised in New Jersey and spent part of her childhood living with her grandparents in Sandwich on Cape Cod. As an adult, she worked in communications using cutting edge-technologies at Bell Atlantic and Becton Dickinson in New Jersey. Gladys and her husband Ted enjoyed sailing, camping and skiing together. She served on the ski patrol, taught aerobics and loved to sing. Upon retirement, Gladys moved back to Sandwich, where she pursued her passion for painting. She specialized in seascapes and participated in art shows across the Cape. Gladys enjoyed spending time with her extended family.

A private memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Burial in Bay View Cemetery, Sandwich.
