Obituary for Richard J. Trainor
Richard J. Trainor, 72, a Cambridge native and longtime resident of Acton, MA, died peacefully at his home on Friday October 11, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Nancy A. (Quist) Trainor; children Richard Trainor Jr., Sean Trainor, Robbie Trainor, and Kristen Radbill; his cherished granddaughter Emily Trainor; brothers Joseph and James Trainor; sisters Diane Kilgarriff and Shirley Gillen; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Mr. Trainor was born and raised in Cambridge, the son of the late Joseph P. and Helen (Pratti) Trainor. An Acton resident since 1978, he especially enjoyed time spent tending to his garden.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Mass on Saturday October 19th, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Anselm Church, 100 Landham Road, Sudbury, MA. Burial is private at a later date. In accordance with his wishes, there are no visiting hours.
