Obituary

Marcus C. "Marc" Dalli, 44, of Worcester, died unexpectedly June 25, 2019 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. He was the husband of Sharon L. "Shari" (McLatchy) Dalli, to whom he was married for 23 years. He is also survived by their three sons, Evan, Andrew and Hunter; his mother Bonnie L. (MacLean) Dalli; a sister Kellie Dolan; two brothers, Steven Marshall and Frank Dalli; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Francis J. Dalli.

Born in Concord, Marc lived most of his life in Acton. He loved working for Tom's Yard Care, a business owned and operated by his childhood friend. He enjoyed the challenge of creating patios, walkways, walls and beautiful landscapes, and the company of his co-workers and his many friends in the trades. Generous by nature, he was a homebody, cherishing time spent with his family when the workday was done.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday July 1st from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave, (Rte 111) Acton. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Stow, will be at a later date. Memorial page Actonfuneralhome.com

My sincere condolences to Marc's family and all the guys from Tom's Yard Care. I'll miss seeing Marc here on a regular basis. I've been a customer for about 20 years and Marc was around for most of them. Always friendly and a hard worker. May you rest in peace. Judy N

To the family and friends of Marcus Dalli,
I am very sorry for your unexpected loss.
The wise man Solomon at Ecclesiastes 9:11,12 tells us “I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all. For man does not know his time. Just as fish are caught in an evil net and birds are caught in a trap, so the sons of men are ensnared in a time of disaster, when it suddenly overtakes them..”
Yet we can take comfort knowing that there is One who can and will remove such tragedies forever.
Until then may you find comfort in the Bible’s hope that one day we will see our lost loved ones again.
Jesus also showed how this promise is sure when he resurrected Lazarus. John 11:1-44.
Such bible truths provide us with hope and comfort as we look forward to the day when death will no longer be and those who have sadly lost their lives will be awakened onto a Paradisiac Earth, to a life free of sickness, pain, sorrow and the worries of ever dying again.
This being the Creator’s original purpose, it will indeed be fulfilled.
Though this wonderful Promise from the One who can and will fulfill it doesn’t take away the pain and grief of death,
my wish is that it brings you peace and hope during this sad time.
Genesis 2:7, 8; Isaiah 55:11; Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3, 4; John 6:40; 1 Corinthians 15:25, 26🙏🏼

My uncle. Best friend. Co-worker. I’ll never forget all the stupid stuff I used to say just to hear his contagious laugh. You’ll forever and always be in my heart and my memories. I love you, watch over all of us, until we meet again on the other side.
