On Wednesday May 1st, 2019 John Alvin Estabrook (74) passed away suddenly.

Born in his family home on January 1st, 1945 to George and Helen Estabrook. John grew up alongside his two sisters, constantly outside and surrounded by animals on their family farm in Berlin, MA. He attended Tahanto Regional High School in Boylston, MA.

John’s passion for life continued when he voluntarily enlisted in the Air Force in 1966 and was discharged in 1970 as an ES Staff Sergeant. He was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. He also was an avid outdoorsman participating in multiple activities such as hunting, fishing and gardening all with his beloved dog Riley by his side.

John traveled all around the world experiencing many new cultures and making many friends along the way which helped him accumulate his extravagant stories to tell anyone willing to listen.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Moller Estabrook, and two children, Lucas John Estabrook and Rachel Rose Estabrook. As well many nieces and nephews.

John will never be forgotten because of the footprint he leaves in people’s minds and hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours for John on Thursday, May 9th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home at 470 Massachusetts Avenue, (Rte 111) Acton, MA 01720.
