Obituary for Beverly Ann McGrory

Beverly A McGrory of Boxborough passed away on April 25, 2019 surrounded by her family after a 2 year struggle with brain cancer.

She was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Breton M. and Janet A. (Paoletta) Bowser. Beverly is survived by her husband of 25 years, William, and their daughters Ainsley and Megan McGrory and their dog, Archie, of Boxborough. In addition to family and friends in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Ohio, North Carolina, Washington and Arizona, Beverly is survived by her brother, William Bowser, and his family of Harrisville, RI; her aunt and uncle, Beverly and Neil Plante of Johnston, RI and her godson, Christopher Pioli and his parents and siblings of Bethesda, Maryland.

Beverly graduated from Boston University with a degree in electrical engineering and received her MBA from Boston College. For 20 years, Beverly worked as an engineer and manager for Verizon. Beverly retired from Verizon to follow her passion to teach math. Initially, Beverly started her career as an educator at Blanchard Memorial School in Boxborough and for the last several years Beverly enjoyed working as a math teacher at the Clinton Middle School in Clinton, MA.

Beverly loved to spend time with family and friends and she loved to travel with them. Her travels could be as simple as a drive to a RI beach in her convertible mini copper or a trip to Boston, NYC, Vermont, NC, Washington or as adventurous as a trip to her favorite city, Paris.

Bill, Ainsley and Megan are grateful and thankful for the love and help they have received these last 2 years and are currently receiving from family and friends, especially Melissa Ford, Lisa Jensen, Eileen Kassower and Catherine Christensen.
