It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of the light of our life, Ken Nowokunski (Kenny, Nowa) husband, son, brother, uncle and good friend to so many. Ken left this world on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 but lives on in the hearts of all of us who loved him so dearly. Nothing in the world meant more to Ken than his family, friends and of course skiing. He and his wife Wendy shared a special love of friendship, fun and family.

Wendy, So very sorry to learn about your loss. I got to know Ken in the late 70s at Nashoba. I signed up for ski racing classes that he conducted. On occasion I'd come across you two at killington. One of my proud moments was beating him in a head to head race at NV. He had a rare course issue that gave me a fractional win. Wishing you peace!

So sorry for your loss. Ken was one of a kind and left this world way to early. Some of my favorite memories were at the Tuck It Inn with Ken as the entertainment. All I remember is laughter and fun. Ken will truly be missed by thousands as he touched so many lives with his bigger than life sense of humor and love for his family friends. Skiing and Boston sports. I will never forget skiing with Ken
I remember years ago during a storm Ken and I were skiing. The wind and snow were crazy so we couldn't see.
We were just getting to the top of Ovation and the wind stopped only to see a rope waisted high. I abruptly stopped and Ken couldn't stop a crashed into me. We both got up happy to be OK. Ken had a significant gash on his leg I said should I call the patrol. I will never forget Nowas response. " Ya i guess you could call the ski patrol or i could just stoke through this powder and get to the base!!"
Ken took off and I followed his blood trail down ovation to the base lodge!!
No one on the planet was more fun to make turns with than Ken.
So sorry for Wendy, Maggie and all Ken's friends and family.
I have no doubt Ken is making turns under a blue bird sky somewhere!!
