Richard J. Killeen, a lifelong resident of Somerville, MA died suddenly on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Loving son of the late John J. & Julia Killeen. Devoted brother of Mary McDonald of Franklin, Joan DiNapoli of Dunwoody, Georgia, Betsy Punch of Milton, Thomas Killeen of Somerville & Margaret Killeen of Medford, MA. Richard was predeceased by his beloved sisters, Claire Hardy, Patricia Moynihan, Edna McDonnell, & Barbara Killeen as well as his dear brother, John Killeen. In addition to his siblings, Richard will be forever cherished by his many nieces and nephews. In addition to being an avid Boston sports’ fan, Richard loved fishing. Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army.

Visiting hours will be held at St. Joseph Church, 264 Washington Street, Somerville, MA on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:10 pm in the church. Burial at 2:15 pm in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Great Road, Maynard, MA.
