Obituary for Jeffrey Walsh Barila
Jeffrey Walsh Barila of Boston, formerly of Stow, MA died unexpectedly at the age of 36 on Monday, January 14, 2019. He is the son of Anthony and Maureen (Walsh) Barila of Marlborough, formerly of Stow.
A real estate agent, Jeffrey was raised and educated in Stow and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Roger Williams University. He had a love for working out and physical fitness. A member of the MetroRock Climbing Center in Everett, he enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, swimming, and surfing, and his favorite meal was chicken parmesan.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his parents, his sister Veronica Barila of Southborough and her finance Tim Kowalczyk, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours for Jeffrey will be held on Monday, January 21st from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rt. 111) Acton. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 22nd at 10am in St. Isidore Church, 429 Great Road, (Rte 117), Stow. Burial in Nantucket will be on Wednesday, January 23rd.
