Born in Waltham, she was a daughter of the late Albert R. and Mabel (Geer) Jenks. She moved to Acton with her family at a young age and grew up on the family farm. She was a long-time member of the West Acton Baptist Church, the Acton Garden Club, and in later years The Congregational Church of Littleton where she loved attending services. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and especially reading. In later years she and her husband lived in Mason, NH and Littleton, MA. Until recently she was very active in her Christopher House community, attending events and activities. She cherished time spent with her four-generation family, who gathered in December to celebrate her 100th birthday.
