STOW - Robert J. “Bob” Malinowski, Sr., 72, died September 27, 2018 He died unexpectedly. Bob lived in Stow for 45 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Ruth M. (White) Malinowski; son Robert “Rob” Malinowski, Jr.; daughter Laura A. Malinowski; 3 grandchildren, Chad and Quinn Casalinuova and Robert C. Malinowski; sisters Patricia Soltys, Barbara Walsh, Mary Beth Chevalier; a brother Joseph B. Malinowski; and extended family members. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Joseph B. and Mary E. (Matusko) Malinowski, and his sisters Joan Malinowksi and Nancy Urgil.

Born in Northampton in 1945, Bob was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist employed at Emerson Hospital in Concord for many years. In early years he was active with Little League and youth soccer. He enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, motocross and most especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, October 2nd from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 3rd at 10:00 A.M. in St. Isidore Church, 429 Great Rd (Rte 117), Stow, followed with burial in Brookside Cemetery, Gleasondale Rd. (Rte 62) Stow. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Stow Fire Association - Ambulance Fund, 511 Great Rd., Stow, MA 01775. Memorial page www.actonfuneralhome.com
