Obituary for Jacqueline A. Voss

Jacqueline A. (Judd) Voss passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 with her family by her side. She was a longtime resident of Concord, MA and was 88 years old.

Jacqueline was the beloved wife of the late J. David Voss who died in 1989 and leaves her children and grandchildren; David F. Voss and wife Clare of Silver Spring, MD, and their children Connor and Jillian; Karen E. Sherman and husband Peter of Maynard, MA , and their children Sarah and Catherine; and Laura A. Robb and husband Joseph of Acton, MA, and their son, Tyler.

Born in La Junta, CO, in 1930, to Charles A. Judd Jr. and Margaret B. (Harrington), Jacqueline was raised in La Junta, and later in Birmingham, MI. Jacqueline attended Stephens College, and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan. She and her husband David raised their family in New Jersey and Michigan, and later lived for many years in New Canaan, and Wilton, CT. Jacqueline then lived in Concord, MA for twenty-five years. She took great pride in the care of her home and raising her children, and was a proud member of the “Daughters of the American Revolution."

Jacqueline had many hobbies and interests throughout her life but enjoyed researching genealogy, reading, and knitting in her spare time. She also enjoyed music, art, and films. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially later with her cherished grandchildren. Her loving, kind, and giving spirit will be remembered by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral services for Jacqueline will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the thoughtful guidance of the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave., Acton, MA 01720.
