Obituary

SAN FRANCISCO, formerly Stow, MA: Brian Michael Weaver, age 34, passed away unexpectedly in San Francisco on August 26, 2018. Brian was born and raised in Stow, MA and attended Nashoba Regional High School. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Brian moved to his grandmother's house in Somerville for a few years before making the move to San Francisco in 2012. As an avid listener of Phish and The Grateful Dead he melted right into the music scene in San Francisco. Though Brian left New England he never forgot his true love of Boston and home. He would often return to catch a Celtics game at the Garden, spend time with his mother in Stow, or visit familiar places in Davis Square.

Brian is survived by his mother, Kathleen M. Weaver of Stow, MA, and his father Bruce H. Weaver who currently resides in California. He is also survived by his older brothers, Scott C. Weaver and his wife Lindsay Weaver of Somerville, MA, and Robert Weaver and his wife Jennifer Weaver of Brooklyn, NY, along with their son, Brian's nephew, Jack Weaver.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday April 6, 2019 at noon in St. Isidore's Church, 429 Great Road (Rte 117) Stow, with a reception to follow at the Boxborough Regency, 242 Adams Place off Rte 111, Boxborough. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to either Lowell House Inc., 5 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA 01854, or to the Sisters of St. Joseph Boston, 637 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA 02135, or to your local school charity. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though a few months have passed, I am sure that it still breaks your hearts that death has separated you from Brian, especially when he was so young. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, "death will be swallowed up forever." (Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again. (John 6:40) I hope your beautiful memories of Brian and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of Brian. I worked with him and shared some great conversations. I will always remember his free-spirited thinking and his innate ability to question just about everything. He has a great soul, God Bless.

Brian will be missed by our entire family. We met Brian thru our daughter Jenni who fell in love with him in the City of San Francisco. He had a sweet, gentile disposition and as a Dad, I could see how much the two of them enjoyed each other. Brian really impressed me as a guy who cared about others and I really admired that about him. I feel like a fine young man has left us a lot earlier than he should have. Rest In Peace, Brian. You will be missed......

Mike and I were so sorry to hear about Brian’s passing. It was fun getting to know him over the past few years that he was dating our daughter Jenni. He was a great addition to our family. May God be with your family during this most difficult time. May He give you comfort and peace.
