Stephen Joseph "Bumpy" Paterson, 72, of Acton, MA, formerly of Woburn, MA died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Stephen leaves his wife of 30 years, Gloria L. (Cempellin) Paterson of Acton and his son, David Paterson along with his two grandchildren, Dorian and Julian.

Stephen was born in Waterville, ME, son of the late John Paterson and Anna (Nestor). He resided in Woburn, MA for many years until moving to Acton were he and his wife Gloria have spent the past 9 years.
He worked in the computer field as a technician locally for many years until his retirement.

Stephen enjoyed the outdoors, especially in his younger years. His spare time was often spent mountain climbing, camping and fishing. He looked forward to downhill skiing in the winter months and photography was a hobby he really enjoyed. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Following cremation, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the thoughtful guidance of Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA 01720.
