Some of my fondest memories are when the 4 of us, or sometimes 6 with Hershel and Marilyn, would go out to dinner. Floyd loved trying new restaurants (usually very nice ones), and eating really good, interesting, creative food. He enjoyed his martini and a good glass of wine. But it wasn't the really delicous food that made the night, it was the conversation. We always had such good talks and Floyd told funny stories and also some not so funny jokes but he always laughed so hard that the rest of us laughed anyway which only encouraged more bad jokes. I also remember our family trips- Washington D.C., San Francisco, Disneyworld to name a few. He was so much fun to be with and was so easy going. Nothing really phased him even though travelling with three young grandchildren could be a bit insane sometimes. And I will forever be grateful for the love and support he showed his grandchildren. He was the best grandpa! He made them feel special and loved. He went to sporting events and shows and was always proud and supportive. He told them they could do anything. He meant so much to them and had such a positive impact on their lives. We will miss him.
