MAYNARD, formerly Waltham: John R. Santamaria, Sr., 95, formerly of Maynard and Waltham MA, April 17, 2018 died peacefully at the VA Boston Healthcare System facility in West Roxbury. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Katherine (Meninger) Santamaria; loving father of John R. Santamaria, Jr. and wife Ginny of Marlborough, MA, and Sharon Santamaria Nikosey and husband Don of Wakefield, MA. Proud grandfather of Cassidy Santamaria, and Eric and Marlena Nikosey. Brother of the late Basil, Rosalie and Stephen Santamaria.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours Friday, April 20th, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Funeral service will be private. Interment in St Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard, is at a later date.
