I met Maria at Fitness Together in Natick 13 years ago and had the privilege to train this beautiful young lady.Even though I was 30 years older than Maria, we became instant friends. We attended Mass together and I , being a Massage Therapist , worked on Maria for 2 hours. I know she thoroughly enjoyed it, as she said it did wonders for her very athletic body. Right now I am in total shock , having learned of her passing this past April. To Marias mother I can only say how hard it must be to have to bury a child, just as Our Blessed Mother had to with her Son, our Lord. I have given Maria the gift of perpetual Masses said in her honor, and when I return to Medjugorje once again I hope to climb Apparition Hill and there offer Maria a Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet in her honor. I will also speak to Ivan (one of the apparitionists ) from Medjugorje. As hard as it is for any family members to let go of a beloved family member, I can only hope that you all know that we will all be in Heaven one day, and be reunited with all our loved ones. GOD Bless you all, and keep the faith. Paul 508 596 5009. I would love to hear from David, or any of Marias family members to share my memories of Maria.
I only just learned of Maria's passing months after the fact and am just so shocked and saddened by the news. I looked her up on Facebook because I just thought I saw her over the weekend (while in west hartford). My deepest condolences to the Flanders and Olohan families, I can't imagine what your are going through. My memories of Maria are always of her vibrance, enthusiasm, and passion and I'll never forget those qualities because they still exist in my mind as a model for aspiring to. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss- She will be missed by all who's lives crossed paths with hers. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
We offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to all of the Olohan and Flanders families. May she rest in the Lord’s peace and may He have mercy on her soul.
