Richard N. Howe
Richard N. Howe Sr. (Dick) of Clinton, formerly of Acton, passed away on April 1, 2018 with family by his side. Richard Howe was born January 28, 1938 to the late Arlene and James Howe. Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra as well as their three children, Richard Jr. and wife Maureen of Chelmsford, Sheryl Ball and husband Patrick of Clinton, and Scott and wife Claire of Acton. Dick is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Austin, Theresa, Casey, Katie, Meghan, and Scott Jr, as well as several nieces and nephews. His sisters Marian and Arlene, as well as two brothers Robert and James predeceased Dick.

He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and golf. Dick also enjoyed bowling in a league for many years with his friends. Dick was employed with the Town of Acton Highway Department for over 40 years. He began as a Laborer and rose to become the Superintendent. There was not a street in Acton that “Dicky” couldn’t tell you something about. Respected by all, his sense of humor and wit was contagious to all around him.

Visiting hours will be held at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave. (Rte 111) Acton, MA on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3PM-6PM with a memorial service to be held at 6PM at the funeral home.
