I am so saddened by the passing of such a generous and gentle man. When we moved to Brook Street in late 2014, Brewster was the first person to drop by and welcome us to the neighborhood. Only later, working with him at the Acton Historical Society, did I realize the extent of his contributions to and involvement with the town, and how engaged and selfless a person he was. I will especially miss our walks through the forests and open spaces that he loved so much.
