Obituary for Demetrius Kazan
Boxborough, MA - Demetrius Kazan passed at the Emerson Hospital in Concord on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Born to the late Matthaios and Penelope (Salonikdis) Kazantzoglou on October 20, 1923, he was 94.
He is the beloved husband of 47 years to Stavroula (Gavrilidis) Kazan; father of Olympia Wheeler and her husband Greg and the late Kyriakus Kazan; grandfather of Raymond, Demetrius and Nicholas Wheeler; uncle of Matthaios Kazantzoglou, Matthaios Mavridis, Christos Mavridis, Froso Tsoupli and the late Penelope Kazantzoglou.
Visiting hours Friday, February 16th from 5-8pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Funeral Saturday, February 17th at 11:30am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 17 Meriam St., Lexington, MA 02420; followed by burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 180 Central St., Acton.
