He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kris Ann (Rutledge) Jaillet and their two children, Dan and Elizabeth Jaillet, all of Maynard, MA. He also leaves his loving parents, Ronald A. Jaillet Sr. and Catherine A. (Cummings) Jaillet of Nashua, NH, formerly of Maynard, MA and Waltham, MA; his two brothers, Ronald Jaillet Jr. of Cambell, CA, Joseph Jaillet and wife Juanita of Londonderry, NH; his two sisters, Jeanne Leduc and husband Jamie of Nashua, NH, Jim’s “favorite sister” Marcy Mula and husband Bob of West Townsend, MA; his mother-in-law, Gail Rutledge of Maynard, MA along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

James was born and raised in Waltham, MA and has resided in Maynard since 1999. He worked from his home as a computer analyst for many years with GBS Company out of Germany and prior to GBS he was employed by the Millipore Corporation in Bedford, MA. Before Jim became ill he always looked forward to attending the “Chess Club” gatherings in Natick, MA and due to his passion for the game, would often challenge a family member or friend to a chess match daily. He was a devoted New England sports fan and held his beloved Celtics above the rest. He was so enthusiastic to see them doing so well. Summers where always special to Jim, he enjoyed having a beer with friends around the campfire and operating his motor boat on the Pemigewasset River. His “Happy Place” was the Davidson Countryside Camp Grounds in Bristol, NH. All who loved and knew Jim will cherish the memory of a loving and devoted family man, good friend and a fanatic Jethro Tull junkie. He will truly be missed but not forgotten.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 13th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Bridget’s Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard, MA.
