Obituary for
Daniel J. Remen
Daniel (Danny) John Remen
November 14, 1986 --November 16, 2017
Danny’s life is a rich story filled with amazing friends and family, laughter, and fun. Sadly, the 31st chapter ended a day into the first page; an abrupt ending that no one saw coming, including Danny.
Danny was the youngest of two sons born to Patty and Steve and was raised in Stow, MA. Mike, his older brother, will forever remain his best friend and confidante. As a young child, Dan spent his summers and winters with the family playing, boating, and boarding on the lake and on the mountain of Sunapee, NH with both sets of grandparents, his five cousins and ten aunts and uncles, and a tribe of friends. The years were filled with beautiful memories that Danny cherished throughout his life.
Danny graduated from Kearsarge Regional High School and attended New Hampshire Technical College. Over the years, he shared his gifts with several employers but thoroughly enjoyed the time when he was able to work alongside his brother at the Bean Town Pub in Boston, MA. He was a Boston resident and an avid Boston sports fan.
Over the last decade, Danny enjoyed numerous adventures with his extended family traveling, golfing, snowboarding and sailing. Friends and family will forever remain the cornerstone of Danny’s life. He had a big heart, a beautiful smile, and a thirst for life that he freely and eagerly shared with those whom he loved. Although the story ends with many untold chapters, the memories of the past 31 chapters are etched in the hearts of all who knew and loved Danny Remen.
Danny leaves the following immediate family behind: Patricia Flaherty Donahue (mom) and Brian Donahue (stepdad); Stephen (dad) and Cynthia (stepmom) Remen; Michael Remen (brother); Nathan Angus (stepbrother); Elsa Remen (grandmother).
