MAYNARD, MA: Rose Marie (Boudreau) Hart, 81, a resident of Maynard, MA for 51 years, died peacefully Friday, September 22, 2017 at her home. She was the beloved wife of James A. “Jim” Hart, to whom she was married for 58 years.

Born in Joggins, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Gould) Boudreau. Mrs. Hart immigrated from Nova Scotia to Waltham, MA when she was 18, where she met her husband Jim at a church social. The married and eventually settled in Maynard. Mrs. Hart was employed as a police matron and crossing guard for the town. In later years she loved her work as a full time nanny caring for Chloe, Noah and Sophie. She enjoyed time spent with her faithful dog, Daisy, and trips to Chatham. She especially cherished her granddaughters.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Jeff Hart, his wife Jen and their daughters Jill, Libby and Suzie of Chatham, and a daughter Lynn Hart and her companion Granville Garth III of Concord; and is also survived by nieces, nephews and and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Mass on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 at 10:00am in St. Bridget’s Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard. Interment will be at a later date.
