Sandra Anne Nutile, 67, of Brunswick, GA (formerly Maynard, MA) died peacefully at home on Friday, March 17th in the loving arms of her husband Robert Nutile. She was born on April 10,1949 and married to Robert for 41 years. She was the light of his life as he stood by and cared for her daily during a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Robert and her dog Joe miss her tremendously.

Sandy was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, daughter of the late John and Marjorie (MacCallum) Schurman. She was raised in Maynard, graduating from Maynard High School Class of 1967. After high school Sandra advanced her accounting skills at Digital Equipment Corporation. Over her career, she worked as a bookkeeper for several companies in Massachusetts, Maine and Oregon.

She is survived by her son Derek Nutile, and grandson Enzo Nutile of Portland, Oregon. She also leaves a sister Marjorie Iannuzzo and her husband Guy of Maynard, a brother John J. Schurman II of Acton, nephews Daniel Schurman of Orlando, FL and Christopher Schurman of Toledo, OH, as well as many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 13th, 2017 at 11:00am at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rt 111) Acton. In lieu of flowers, donations for may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or a charity of your choice. Memorial page www.actonfuneralhome.com
