Life Story for Marguerite E. (Kimball) Joyce

Marguerite E. (Kimball)   Joyce
Formerly Boxborough: Marguerite E. (Kimball) Joyce, 85, a longtime resident of Boxborouh, MA and formerly of Arlington, MA, died peacefully Saturday December 17, 2016 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Frederick P. Joyce, Sr., and mother of the late Timothy J. Joyce. She is survived by three children, Christine M. Joyce, Frederick P. Joyce, Jr., and Lisa A. Page; 6 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Joyce was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late Timothy and Bertha Kimball. She grew up in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. The Joyces were married in 1950, and settled in Mr. Joyce's hometown of Boxborough. Mrs. Joyce was a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Boxborough Auto Service. She also was the cafeteria manager for the C.T. Douglas School in Acton for many years. She enjoyed reading and loved the water, especially time spent at the family's camp in Meredith, NH.

Service and burial in South Cemetery are private.
