Carolyn Ruth  Johnson
Carolyn Ruth (Dewey) Johnson passed away at her home in Stow on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Born in Quincy to the late Clifford and Julie (Macdonald) Dewey on March 28,1930, she was 86.

Carolyn was married to the late N. Robert Johnson, at the time of his death they had shared more than 58 years of marriage. She is a former member of the Viking Club of Quincy, she enjoyed playing the organ and listening to organ music, rollerskating and crocheting.

She is survived by her four children, Carl Johnson, Donna Pinkerton, Wayne Johnson & his wife Teresa and Diane Johnson; sisters-in-law Elaine Johnson, Ruth Banfield & her husband Ralph; brother-in-law Arnold Johnson & his wife Judy; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and 5 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her brothers Alan and Clifford Dewey and her brother-in-law Robert Johnson.

Visiting hours Sunday, Nov. 27th from 4:00 to 7:30pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton, followed by a funeral service at 7:30pm. Burial on Monday, Nov. 28th at 2:00pm in Brookside Cemetery, Gleasondale Rd.(Rte 62), Stow.
