Obituary for Altanette R. (Densch) Allard

Altanette R. (Densch) Allard, 81, passed away on Friday, October, 7, 2016, at her home in Sarasota, FL.

She was born on May 29, 1935 in Stevens Point, WI to Walter and Ruth (Jaquish) Densch. Altanette grew up in Wisconsin and after graduating from high school 1954 she attended Nursing school in Madison, WI. She began work at a local hospital as a nurse where she met her future husband Roger J. Allard while caring for him. They were happily married for 22 years, moving often and lived in 7 states until settling in Acton MA. She worked as a nurse at Suburban Manor for 24 years. She retired in 2001 and moved to Sarasota FL.

Altanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, brother Bill Densch and nephew Daniel Densch. Altanette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Cody Sisson, of Northfield MA, son Pierre Allard of Lompoc CA, brother and sister-in-law Carl and Mary Densch of Simpsonville, SC, sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Steve Kuzman of Sarasota FL, her grandchildren Cassandra Sisson, Reed Sisson and Bailey Sisson, her great-grandchild Weston, and several nieces.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Acton, MA at 10:00 on Saturday, November 5, 2016, followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at 11:00am at the Colonial Inn, Monument Square, Concord. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, http://www.alz.org or to Tidewell Hospice, http://tidewellhospice.org Condolences may be left on Altanette R.
