Obituary for Mark Elliott

Mark Henry Elliott, formerly of Acton, Massachusetts, passed away in his home in Maynard on April 1, 2016 at the age of 27. Survived by his loving mother, Karen, and brother, AJ. Predeceased by his Dad in 2006, John C. "Chuck" Elliott. Mark will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to all things whimsical and goofy. Mark worked a number of different jobs - always injecting his brand of the spectacular into even the most mundane - meeting the love of his life, Kelsey Parker, while working at the Discovery Museum in Acton, MA and sharply beginning an intimacy from which sprouted some of the happiest years of his life. His sense of humor and creative imagination will be missed, however not lost on those whom he had touched - we encourage anyone with memories of Mark to share them at a service to celebrate his life on Saturday 4/9, 11am, at Living Hope Church, 556 Cabot Street in Beverly, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that to remember Mark those who wish to may take a piece from this list, written by him:
- Eliminate tiny decisions, focus on the bigger ones.
- Routinize something healthy that you don't normally do - floss, etc.
- Clean/fix something.
- Take a different route to work.
- Punctuate a moment with mini-meditation. Be present and aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
- Do something you want. Nothing destructive.
- Learn something useless/interesting.
- Take care of your relationships. Show them you love them.

Please direct all questions regarding the memorial service to the Eagle & Dove Ministries office at 978-283-9111. Do not contact Living Hope Church office. Thank you.
