Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Harrington) Tolman, 89, a longtime Acton resident, died Sun., Feb. 7, 2016 in Acton. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilbur J. Tolman, to whom she was married for 62 years at the time of his passing in 2014. Mrs. Tolman worked with her husband in the family business, Middlesex Laundry and Cleaners in Maynard, before retiring, and was a former member of the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church Sodality.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Tolman and his wife, Kathy, of Brentwood, TN, and a daughter, Gale Livingston and her husband, Paul, of Westford. She was the proud grandmother of Brendan, Sarah, Katie and Jenny.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Thurs. Feb. 11th from 4-7pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Fri. Feb. 12th at 10am in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington St., Acton, with burial following in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Central St., W. Acton.
