Stuart A. Treat, age 54 of Acton passed away in the arms of his family on Feb. 4, 2016 a year after being diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. He was the devoted husband to, and beloved husband of Christine Brey Treat for 25 years. He leaves his cherished sons Douglas and Richard Treat both of Acton as well as his best friend Pepper. Son of the late Dr C. Vincent and Jean Brannigan Treat of Lexington. Loved dearly and baby brother to Stephen Treat, Suzanne Cooper, Doug Treat, Deborah Sargent and their families including nieces Darcy Cooper-Quintana and husband Julio, Tori Sargent, Winthrop Sargent and Alex Treat, brother in law of good friend and confidant Winthrop Sargent, Meike Treat, and Antoinette Brey. Very special son in law of Billie Brey Gilfillan. Many thanks to the team at MGH Cancer Center for their kindness and care. Graduate of BB&N class of '80 and Syracuse University class of '84.
