Stuart A.  Treat
Stuart A. Treat, age 54 of Acton passed away in the arms of his family on Feb. 4, 2016 a year after being diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. He was the devoted husband to, and beloved husband of Christine Brey Treat for 25 years. He leaves his cherished sons Douglas and Richard Treat both of Acton as well as his best friend Pepper. Son of the late Dr C. Vincent and Jean Brannigan Treat of Lexington. Loved dearly and baby brother to Stephen Treat, Suzanne Cooper, Doug Treat, Deborah Sargent and their families including nieces Darcy Cooper-Quintana and husband Julio, Tori Sargent, Winthrop Sargent and Alex Treat, brother in law of good friend and confidant Winthrop Sargent, Meike Treat, and Antoinette Brey. Very special son in law of Billie Brey Gilfillan. Many thanks to the team at MGH Cancer Center for their kindness and care. Graduate of BB&N class of '80 and Syracuse University class of '84. Long time sales Exec for the Shipping Logistics Industry, Member of the Foreign Commerce Club of Boston. He also leaves numerous friends who loved his kind soul and gentle manner. Please join his family for Services on February 28th, 2016 at 2pm at the First Parish Church of Stow & Acton, 353 Great Rd., in Stow, MA. Reception immediately following in the church hall.
