Crystal Fenton Emond
Crystal Fenton Emond, 31, of Marlborough, a longtime former Acton resident, died on Saturday, October 27, 2012 after a brief illness with her family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Emond and devoted mother of Bradey and Logan, all of Marlborough. Joe and her sons were the loves of her life.
Born in Concord on May 29, 1981, she was the daughter of James and Carol Fenton of Acton and daughter-in-law of Gary and Helen Emond of Green Harbor.
A graduate of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Crystal worked as an agent for Colonial Homes Real Estate for the past 7 1/2 years.
A devoted wife and mother, Crystal loved the simple things in life. Her greatest joy was spending time with family & friends. Her laugh was contagious and her smile would light up an entire room. She loved spending summers at Lake Winnipesaukee boating and watching her boys play on the beach.
In addition to her husband, children and parents, Crystal is survived by her siblings, Jason, Shannon and Coleen Fenton of Acton, Carolyn Fenton of Los Angeles, Gary and Lisa Emond of Green Harbor, Matt and Danielle Emond of Charlestown, Paul Emond of Marshfield and Johnny Emond of Green Harbor.
She is further survived by grandmothers, Dorothy Fenton of Maynard, Phyllis Morgan of Marshfield, Ann Emond of Quincy and grandparents, Bucky & Rae Fenton of East Dennis as well as 7 nieces and nephews and a large and loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Pauline Nicholson of Acton.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Fri. Nov. 2nd from 3:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Mass Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Sat. Nov. 3rd at 9:00am in St. Bridget's Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Central Street, West Acton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bradey & Logan Emond Education Support Trust, c/o Middlesex Savings Bank, 577 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA 01720
