Obituary for Constance Martha Smith (LaRosee)

Constance Martha  Smith (LaRosee)
Constance Martha (LaRosee) Smith, a resident of Acton for the past 41 years and a Waltham native, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Tues. Feb. 14, 2012. She was the beloved wife of 44 years of Robert S. Smith.

Born and raised in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Constance (Penkethman) LaRosee, and was a graduate of the Waltham schools. Mrs. Smith loved children, and centered her life around providing a loving home for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her large extended family, working on crossword puzzles, and was a hockey fan, especially of Tim Thomas and The Boston Bruins.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Scott S. Smith of Cambridge, Jeffrey Smith and wife April of Framingham, Rachel Dougherty of Leominster, Sarah Livermore and husband Will of Framingham; two grandchildren, Hannah and Brady Smith; two brothers, Raymond LaRosee of Pembroke and Dennis LaRosee of Westford; four sisters, Claire Devine of Townsend, Marsha Walker of Pepperell, Darlene Camuti of Gardner and Janice Deer of Harvard; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are Thursday, February 16th from 4:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Funeral services are Friday, February 17th at 10:00am in Faith Evangelical Free Church, 54 Hosmer Street, Acton, with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Road, Acton Center.
