Obituary for Jerilyn "Lyn" (Dee) Primiano
MAYNARD: Jerilyn “Lyn” (Dee) Primiano, 71, of Maynard, MA died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The beloved wife of 51 years of William M. “Bill” Primiano, she is also survived by their children, Jack Primiano and wife Karen, Karen Sawisch and husband Joe, and five grandchildren Sean and Mia Primiano, Natalie and Adam Hayes and Harry Sawisch, all of Maynard; a brother Gerald Dee of Nashua, NH; and extended family and many friends.
Born in Concord, raised in Maynard and a graduate of Maynard High School, Lyn was the daughter of the late Gerald and Gertrude Dee. She focused on raising her children then worked several years at Digital Equipment Corporation, and later working at the mammography center in Concord and Concord Park Assisted Living. Lyn was a beloved substitute teacher in the Maynard schools for many years, and in younger years like to golf. She enjoyed attending all her family’s activities and sports, looked forward to trips to the casino with her husband, Bill, and vacations with the family at York Beach, Maine and Cape Cod. Always first and foremost was her care for her family, and she most loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home,470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 at 9:00am in St. Bridget’s Church, 1 Percival Street, Maynard, with burial following in Glenwood Cemetery, Great Road (rte 117) entrance, Maynard.
