MAYNARD: David I. Higgins, 86, a lifelong Maynard resident, died peacefully Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Lowell General Hospital. A graduate of Maynard High School, Mr. Higgins graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University and served honorably as a Corporal in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. A tax preparer for local clients, he was employed by the US Postal Service until his retirement then went to work for the Maynard schools. He was a life member and Past Commander of the Frank J.
