Obituary for Patricia F. (McAllister) Campobasso
Patricia F. (McAllister) Campobasso, 79, an Acton resident since 1963, died peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born and raised in Somerville, MA she was one of 10 children of the late Joseph B. and Mary (Naughton) McAllister. Mrs. Campobasso was first employed as a retail clerk at Acton Supply and Donelan's, then worked for 30 years at CVS in Acton before retiring. Spiritual by nature, she was a devout Catholic and member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Acton. She loved time spent with her family and friends, especially her close friends Marsha and Janet.
The wife of the late John C. Campobasso, she is survived by their four children: Judi Briere of Acton and her companion John Wagner of CA, Paul Campobasso and his wife Liz of South Burlington, VT, Nancy Hewitt and husband Bruce of Gilford, NH, and Lisa Forbes and husband Peter of Pepperell, MA; 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Logan, Taylor, Daniel, Ashley, Mike, Krystal and Stephanie; 3 great-grandchildren: Gary, Xander and Nova; a sister Dorothy “Dolly” Fitzgerald of Stoneham, MA; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, October 17th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Wednesday, October 18th in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington Street, Acton, with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, 104 Concord Road, Acton Center.
