Mary P. Segota (Price)
Mary P. (Price) Segota, 83, a longtime resident of Acton, MA, died peacefully October 7, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Segota for 51 years prior to his death in 2011.
Mary leaves her two children, Jeffrey Segota and his wife Barbara of Chicago, IL and Brenda Segota of Acton, MA. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Katherine and Rosemary Segota, both of Chicago, IL; her two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Price; three sisters, Lucy Inkster, Millicent Troupe, Helen Beck and was predeceased by her sister Margaret Anderson. She also leaves her many nieces and nephews.
Mary was born and raised in Meridian, MS, daughter of the late George and Annie (Rainey) Price. She attended local schools and received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Besides taking great pride in raising her children along with her husband Peter, Mary was employed by the Consilium Company in their Littleton, MA office for many years. She has resided in Acton since 1970 and was a volunteer at the Acton Public Library. In her spare time Mary enjoyed sewing and arts and crafts. Her loving and giving spirit will be cherished by all who loved and knew her.
Mary’s family will hold a memorial service and celebration of Mary’s life at a later date.
