Condolences

Condolence From: Anna Trout
Condolence: I have many memories of "Pat". When he had run out of ideas for making furniture for his family he asked me what I would like. I drew a picture of a bureau with multiple drawers. He built and delivered it for me - with cedar liners. He also build me a book shelf and helped with other things - like rototilling my yard when I first put in a new home. These are the many kindnesses and things that he did for me - that I will always remember.

I especially will remember him whenever I see a garden or flowers - he was such a great gardener.

He would tell stories about what it was like to grow up in Concord in the old days. Yes he was a bit gruff at times - but he was always honest and had a heart of gold. He loved his family so much. I'm lucky to consider myself such a close member of the family. All my love to Tina, Kathy, John, Trish, Sue, Stephanie and Deanna.

Stu also so enjoyed his time with Pat and regrets he is not here with us during this time - as he is working in NYC.

Love,

Anna Trout

Condolence From: Janice Hurst
Condolence: Pat was a second father to me. After my parents passed and I got engaged, Pat offered for me to have some wedding pictures taken in his beautiful yard with the spring tulips..so now every time I look at wedding photos there are those beautiful flowers, so Thank You Pat for your generosity and being my second dad when my dad could not be there.
He also offered his home for an after my wedding party since I had no family home at that time, These are a few memories of Pat that I will always remember.

Also, when I bought my house that he gave me a lilac bush from his yard just because I told him I loved them.
My biggest memory of Pat was when I got pregnant with my daughter, he made a cradle with his own hands for me and when I was surprised with it I cried like a baby! I then gave the cradle to my daughter for her son years later.
Pat reminded me of my own dad, tough on the outside but soft on the inside
Thank you Pat for your love of Tina and you creating my best friend, Sue.
Rest in peace in your beautiful garden in heaven!
